Welcome to Pools of the Kai #3! This home has been completely renovated and redecorated. These unique villas bring the outdoors indoors with a vanishing wall of sliding glass doors.
Walk barefoot to The Kaibo or drive 5 minutes to The Rum Point Club for drinks and dinner. Take a kayak tour of Starfish Point and Bio-Bay. Staying at the Pools of the Kai puts you central to the best Cayman Kai has to offer.
New furniture, finishes, countertops, and modern appliances give Pools #3 a bright sunny feel.
The living area features sliding glass doors that open to a screened pool atrium complete with patio furniture and loungers. Soak in your own private pool and enjoy the stunning water views from the comfort of your home-away-from-home. Optional pool heat is available year-round for a $25 daily surcharge.
For work-from-home professionals, the home's upgraded fiber internet connection can handle multiple users and streaming devices at once. Work or learn remotely from one of the Caribbean's safest destinations.

Pools of the Kai #3 can sleep four guests comfortably across 2 bedroom suite.
The owner provides a complimentary tandem kayak for guests to use throughout their stay. An outdoor shower is located near the beach to rinse off feet before entering the home.

Beach Notes
The white sand beach behind the Pools of the Kai units is pure, barefoot beach sand. One can easily walk 120 yards to the Kaibo Yacht Club for drinks, meals and watersports, as well as charter boat pick-up. This quiet area faces south so in winter months a cold front may bring winds from the north or east, the Pools of the Kai tend to be quite calm.
Facing the sound, the ocean water behind the Pools of the Kai is clear and calm. There are no reefs here teeming with marine life, nor is the sea bottom sandy. All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically open to the public. For a barefoot beach swimming experience we recommend walking across the street to the "Gardens of the Kai"or head over to Rum Point (2 minute drive, 10 minute walk). Not only is the beach there swimmable, the Rum Point Club also offers a bar, grill, lounge chaises and a diverse water sports menu to keep you active.
Of course, there is nothing wrong with sitting on your lounge chair at Pools #3 and watching the sun sink in the west with your toes in the sand and a beverage in your hand!

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark.
The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.
Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the years during the summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival.
Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation.

We originally planned stay @ Little Cayman but the property was damaged. Scrambled to find another place. The property management team here is beyond helpful. They made everything work for us. People at Grand Cayman Villas and our property manager were great to work with. Location is on Starfish Point. There are many starfish right out front. Public Beach for Starfish Point is about 100 yards down the road. Kaibo Restaurant/Bar is about 100 yards in the other direction. You can take a ferry to near 7 mile beach from Kaibo. Rum Point is a little more than 1 mile North. (Great bar/restaurant/ beach.) Red Sail Sports is also located at Rum Point for dive trips or stingray city. Highly recommend Pools of Kai #3. Bioluminescent Bay is close by as well.Private Oasis

We loved our stay in this private little oasis! Amazing how secluded they made it feel even next to other properties. We wish it was more clear that the gym and other amenities were at a separate property 20 minutes away but it didn’t really matter. We had everything we needed and the space was perfect.

We stayed at Pools of the Kai 3 a week after Easter and it was lovely. It was so peaceful and quiet, couldn’t have asked for anything better. The villa is very comfortable, clean and the location is lovely. We had asked for the pool to be heated per some of the reviews that we read but it was too warm and we asked for it to be turned off after day 1. Pool temp stayed at a refreshing and not too cool 80 which was great.

The staff at the Welcome Center were friendly and welcoming. Once a week, staff come inside to clean the pool so don\'t be alarmed you see them inside in the morning. They\'re just there to make your experience better. Take advantage of the free kayak and snorkeling gear they let you borrow. It was free entertainment kayaking and snorkeling at the beach just a few steps away every morning.Highly Recommend

We loved our week in this quiet corner of Rum Point. The lanai was amazing with great sun during the day and a step away from the kitchen for drinks and snacks - and whenever we got too warm- the pool was a refreshing oasis - day or night. Swimming in the sound was very nice- no need to go to starfish point as there were many more to see just outside of our door! We enjoyed scooting to the Oasis restaurant at Rum Point for great food and service. While the quiet seclusion was just what we asked for it was a bit of a drag to have to drive 40 minutes to the other side of the sound for more activity- if the water taxi ran on a more regular basis this property would be perfect, but on the whole it was a great week and we would love to stay there again - highly recommend for a couple!Highly recommend!

Our family of 4 recently stayed at the Pools of Kai #3 & we would highly recommend this property! It is located on the quiet side of the island, but Kaibo restaurant is within walking distance & Rum Point Club is a close drive too. Starfish Point is just a few minutes away also. The beach on the property isn’t really swimmable due to the depth & the amount of seaweed, but it was still nice to walk in (water shoes recommended) & see the starfish because the water was still really clear. We enjoyed taking the kayak out! We loved having our own private pool & cooking on our personal grill. Besides this villa, we would also recommend renting a car to visit Cayman Crystal Caves & Seven Mile Beach! One of the highlights of our trip was a half day fishing trip with Outcast Charters. Don’t hesitate booking here- it was paradise, we hated to leave!!!The best villa for a wonderful vacation

Pools of the Kai #3 is a 2 bedroom villa and it has a wonderful layout with bedroom 2 upstairs with their own balcony over the indoor pool. It is furnished beautifully and laid out for comfort and relaxation. The patio is a wonderful place to eat and enjoy the view from the lounge chairs - cooling off in the indoor pool when the temperature rises. The location of the villa is ideal granting privacy on the beach and accessibility to the activity when you choose. We have stayed at this villa for 2 years and already reserved for the third. Pools #3 is our 3rd property rental in 6 visits to the island in the last 7 years and is the best yet. The relaxed atmosphere and calm vibe of the Kai area are exactly why we keep coming back. Condo was in great condition, very spacious and very clean. It had "everything" you would need while staying there. Very nice pool area, beach was right outside your door and relaxing. Only draw back was you really couldn't swim in the water, weedy somewhat. Booking process was very easy with Scott. He answered questions that I had. Chloe was very accommodating, she made sure our groceries were delivered before we arrived, she came by the day after we arrived to make sure everything was to our liking. The part of the large sliding doors were not working very well but she had a gentleman to take care of the next day. Great lady easy to get in touch with if you had to. We were there 13 days and had condo cleaned once and Leah did a "great" job of cleaning, washing the bedding, all the towels and dishes. A fair amount of amenities and activities very close by if you wanted. Places with eat at were the Falls Steakhouse, and Over the Edge , Tukka-East end , Kaibo Beach Bar and Grill twice each, other times we eat at the condo for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great views and very relaxing. We're considering staying there again next year.Another great stay at the Pools 3

Pools of the Kai #3 is an outstanding property. It is clean and updated. The screened in patio and pool make for hours of enjoyment day and night. Large bedrooms and very large bathrooms are perfect for two people or two couples. Great views of the water and nice beach walks to the coffee shop, the bar or the excellent restaurant, Upstairs. Without a doubt, I will be back!Fantastic!

This is a lovely villa with beautiful views across the water. We loved the patio and pool area with its comfortable furniture and huge parasol. Chloe, (the local agent for the property) was excellent, she sorted out any problems immediately and was extremely helpful. However it was a shame that the Rum Point amenities were closed during our stay.Manager Response:

I wish we could control the local businesses. Rum Point will repopen soon after renovations and be better than ever!

Pools of the Kai #3 is a terrific property. Good size, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The pictures do it justice. We enjoyed the pool (non-heated) and appreciated the utensils and cookware in the kitchen. Location is great. Away from the traffic and crowds of 7-mile beach, it\'s a great place to relax. The beach begins at the bottom of the back steps and the crystal-clear water is just 20 yards away. Easy 5-minute walk to the restaurants at Kaibo. Only a 3-minute drive to the beach/park at Starfish Point. We won\'t hesitate to stay here again on a return trip to Grand Cayman.Gorgeous Views

Pools #3 was just as expected. The sight lines were gorgeous with views from every part of the unit whether you were in the kitchen or one of the bedrooms. The area is super relaxing and quiet and we loved having our morning coffee on the second floor balcony. The concierge service they have for the guests was super helpful and they let you borrow things like coolers and scuba gear, help with any excursions and also have items you can rent for your stay which we thought was a great touch. The only downside is that since it is the quieter side of the island away from 7mile beach the restaurants in the area are definitely more limited and you will need a car to get around. The Kaibo beach bar that is a short walk across the beach which actually ended up being our favorite restaurant, has a really cool vibe and is right on the water. Absolutely Perfect

Such a beautiful and immaculate condo, so serene! Direct access to the beach. Inside was very very clean and no detail was spared. From lotions to soap to shampoo everything was provided. Glad there was a laundry machine in the unit so we could wash our clothes the day before we leave. The only thing I would have liked was for the pool to be heated. But other than dat it was absolutely perfect.Manager Response:

We had a very relaxing vacation at pools of Kai 3. Located on the quiet part of the island right next to starfish, it was absolutely perfect. Everything as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay right on the ocean. We grilled and cooked in most nights and watched the sunset in the outdoor screened patio. Highly recommend this condo! The view waking up from the second floor bedroom was outstanding. Can’t say enough positive! Outstanding condo!

This unit was everything we wanted—clean, seemless living from indoor to outdoor, and a quiet, private getaway. We loved it. Enjoyed walking to Kaibo marina for drinks and snorkeling off Rum Point! Pools of the Kai #3 was clean and so comfortable. It had everything we needed for a perfect, relaxing vacation. I particularly love how the living space so seamlessly flows from inside to outside, the pool was wonderful for cooling off and the beach was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed walking the area, enjoyed the Kaibo Yacht Club and Bioluminescence Bay. It’s a bit removed from everything else on the island, which we liked, once the ferry is back up and running and Rum Point opens back up again, there should be many more options for things to do.Best vacation ever!

We reserved Pools of the Kai #3 after a visit to Cayman Islands staying in another location. This property is top notch in so many ways - location - condition - service and wonderful unit. We enjoyed the layout of the villa - was in wonderful condition and well equipped. The location is ideal - you can enjoy the surrounding area but still have a quiet and private villa. We enjoyed the beach, private pool and constant attention by the crew. We will definitely be returning. The covid process was a bit cumbersome and time consuming but understandable and hopefully will be a thing of the past soon. The management team was very helpful during that process. We ate at several close restaurants - Yacht Club and Italian Restaurant. Grocery stores are also convenient. We will definitely be back!wonderful stay!

Pools of the Kai #3 was a perfect facility for a quiet and relaxing vacation. The villa was spacious and had everything we needed for the week. The pool was an unexpected delight. We knew it was going to be there but had no idea how pleasant it was to cool off during the day. The outdoor patio with umbrella was a wonderful place to enjoy Kai from a comfortable lounge chair. We have already reserved it for next year and will be our "goto" vacation location. Hopefully the COVID restrictions will be lifted soon - that was the only complication we encountered with the entry logistics.Manager Response:

Stay in a slice of paradise for some true relaxation and island life! We loved staying here and being able to walk out onto our own beach every morning for coffee. We also loved walking to Kaibo bar and grill for the yummy drinks and food and super friendly staff! We rented a car and didn\'t mind the 30-60 min drive to other parts of the island when we felt like exploring. It was great to come back to a quieter space. The place was well outfitted for beach and pool, as well as functional kitchen and cooking. Coffee machine is a Keurig but there\'s a regular drip machine also in a cabinet. Walking distance to Starfish point which our daughter loved. Unit has its own kayak for use. Would definitely recommend staying here!Spectacular Pools #3

This place is as listed…spectacular! Out on the north side of the island walking distance to Starfish Point (my favorite beach on island) and a couple minute drive to Rum Point. The view from Kaibo beach and ocean from the house just waking up every morning was beautiful! You can literally watch sunrise from your room while still in bed. Condo was super clean and had everything from potable beach chairs to a Weber charcoal grill to cook out on the beach so hit the grocery stores. I had the pool heated…worth every penny for night time swimming! The welcome center provides you with beach coolers and snorkeling gear. Can’t say enough good about this place. Very relaxing vacation! Side note: Stingray City is a must! Did a great job, had an excellent vacation. Scott put my mind at ease about going during this turbulent time of testing for Covid. One of the nicest properties we've ever stayed at. It met our expectations as website photos were accurate. The condition & cleanliness of this property was very good. Kitchen was well stocked with quality appliances & utensils. Having the kitchen opening into the space of the screened in atrium with the pool was wonderful. King bed downstairs was very comfortable. Other than some fleeting noise from pleasure craft on weekends, it was peacefully quiet, especially at night. Privacy was great - we rarely saw anyone! We used the nearby Liquor 4 Less & Chisholms grocery store was great for small buys. Grand Cayman Villas was informative, provided a very good service & were quick to respond to questions or issues. Stayed here with my wife for 4 nights. Unit was exactly as advertised. Checkin was a breeze. Unit was well stocked and well maintained. Property manager was super responsive when a/c wasn\'t working upon arrival. Unit was fixed (new batteries in thermostat) in hardly any time. I would highly recommend this unit and rental company - first class all the way! The location, unit, view, and overall experience were all spectacular. We\'ll be back. One recommendation for visitors. There\'s a large Foster\'s super market that you drive by as you leave the airport. I would suggest stopping there as the grocery selection at the store nearest the unit was limited.A+++

- 13% Occupancy Tax added to rates.
- A 10% Guest Service Fee added to rates.
- A Departure Cleaning Fee is required for all stays.
- A refundable damage deposit is required for all stays.
- Refundable damage deposits will be returned to the guest 7 days after departure pending any damages.
Lower Occupancy Discount
For 2 or fewer guests occupying the villa, the owner lowers the rate by $50/night. The discount will be reflected during the booking process automatically. Festive dates blacked-out.
Booking Rules
- 4 nights minimum stay required.
- 5 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Thanksgiving week.
- 7 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Christmas and New Year's week.
- Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire with your travel dates prior to booking.
- Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
- Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.
Villa Cleaning & Sanitation
All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.
Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.
